SNEA CHQ conveys deepest condolence on the sad demise of Shri. Islam Ahmed President NFTE CHQ, who passed away at age of 82 years on 14/09/2025 at about 0400 Hrs while he was hospitalized in Max Hospital Delhi.
Com. Islam Ahmed was the senior most leader among all Unions and Associations of BSNL and had rendered lifelong services to the workforce of BSNL. He was deeply rooted in union activities and even on 12/09/2025 at 1600 Hrs, he was part of discussions with GS SNEA, GS NFTE, GS SEWA and GS AIGETOA and has given valuable guidance to overcome present critical circumstances. He will be remembered for simplicity, high ethical values, life time devotion towards BSNL employees and such devoted participation in Unions activities till the last breath of his life.
SNEA pays respectful homage to Com. Islam Ahmed, the visionary leader, and pray for heavenly space and peace for the departed soul.
