As per the call given by the Unions and Associations of BSNL massive Lunch Hour Demonstrations held all over India demanding
- Early implementation of 3rd Pay/Wage Revision.
- Withdrawal of vindictive actions by CGM CHTD/TN
- Immediate transfer of CGM TN/CHTD, GM HR TN and PGM HR CHTD.
Thousands of the Executives and Employees of BSNL all over India participated in Lunch Hour Demonstrations registered the strong protest against
- Undue delay of three months in recommendations of signed Wage Negotiation Agreement by BSNL management to DoT
- Not keeping repeated assurances given on the issues created by CGM TN/CHTD,
- Undue delay in settlement of unrest in CHTD /TN Circle issues.
The anguish against indifferent attitude of BSNL Management on HR issues of the Executives and Employees with deliberate negligence of HR issues was clearly visible.
The leaders of Unions and Associations addressed gatherings at different places and explained the how the wage negotiation proposal is delayed , factual positions of issues created by CGM CHTD/TN, status of the demands and its poor response by Management indirectly supporting vindictive actions by CGM TH/CHD and need of struggle with strong unity and it has been very positively responded by the entire workforce of BSNL.
The General Secretaries of all participating Unions and Associations addressed the mass gathering at Eastern Court, Janpath, New Delhi wherein first time good number of Executives and employees have gathered and expressed their feelings and registered protest against continued negligence on in settlement of HR issues. Let us hope this token of agitation will draw attention of management towards the unrest among Executives and Employees of BSNL about continued negligence on HR issues by BSNL management and some corrective action will be taken to resolve the HR issues.
