Update on Meeting of All Unions and Associations:

Emergent meeting of the General Secretaries and representative of the all Unions and Associations  in BSNL was  held at SNEA office at Eastern Court,  Corporate Office, Janpath New Delhi on 19/02/2026 at 1100 Hrs.

Shri. C. Singh, Chairman, presided over the meeting. Shri. Animesh Mitra, Convener, narrated agenda for the discussion and highlighted the main issues on which decision should be taken.

From SNEA this meeting was attended by Shri. M S. Adasul, GS, Ms. Anu Agrwal, CS BSNL CO, Shri. Vinay Tyagi, CS CNTXN Delhi, Shri. Ramesh Jain, CT BSNL CO and some other activists.  

After details discussions by the General Secretaries represented of BSNLEU, NFTE, SNEA, AIGETOA, SEWA, BTEU, AIBSNLEA and DEWAB the following decisions were taken in the meeting.

  1. The meeting has expressed its happiness that the management has approved the Wage Agreement for the non-executives. The meeting has decided further persuasions at DoT. In this connection, the forum will take up matters with DoT. 
  2. The meeting has expressed its strong unhappiness on the attitude BSNL management deliberately not settling the long pending burning issues of Chennai and Tamil Nadu Circle. The meeting has further decided to submit a memorandum to CMD BSNL and seek personal intervention on the subject.
  3. It is reported that the next budgetary parliament session will start from 09/03/2026, the forum will try to submit a common memorandum to maximum number of MPs so that the issue related to relaxation of affordability clause can be raised in the next parliament session. The draft Memorandum will be finalised and shared shortly.
  4. The meeting has expressed its anxiety for non-announcement of the IDA w.e.f. 01/01/2026. It has decided to take up matter with DPE for early orders for increase in IDA from 01/01/2026.
  5. The SET Exam issue was also discussed in the meeting, and it has been decided that a letter will be issued to the CMD for the discussion on TN/ Chennai and SET exam issue.
  6.  Next meeting of the forum will be held on 09/03/2026 at 1100 PM at NFTE office.
