Effective and grand Circle Executive Meeting of SNEA AP Circle :

The Marvelous Circle Executive Committee (CEC) Meeting of SNEA AP Circle was successfully conducted at MBVK Bhavan, Vijayawada on 14/02/2026 with enthusiastic participation by all the Circle Office bearers, District Secretaries, CEC Members and mighty members of SNEA from different corners of AP Circle.

The CEC commenced with the hoisting of the SNEA flag by Shri. K. Lingamaiah, President, SNEA AP Circle.

Shri. R. Rajesh, CEC Member, formally invited the distinguished guests onto the dais.

The meeting was presided over by Shri. K. Lingamaiah, who welcomed the gathering and emphasized the importance of unity and collective responsibility in strengthening the organization and safeguarding the interests of executives.

The CEC was graced by Shri. M. S. Adasul, General Secretary, SNEA CHQ, as the Chief Guest. The meeting was also attended by Shri. K. Tata Babu, CHQ Treasurer, Shri. K. Suresh, AVIP, Shri. M. Satya Prasad, Former Joint Secretary (South), and Shri. G. Acheswara Rao, Joint Secretary (South). Shri. J. Uma Maheswara Rao, Circle Secretary, SNEA AP, and Shri. N. Jayanand, Circle Treasurer, accompanied the distinguished guests and actively participated in the proceedings.

The welcome address was delivered by the host BA District Secretary, Shri. N. Mahesh, DS Vijayawada BA. He warmly welcomed the dignitaries, delegates and participants.

Shri. J. Uma Maheswara Rao, Circle Secretary, SNEA AP, presented a comprehensive report detailing the activities undertaken by the AP Circle since the last Circle Conference. The report covered various organizational initiatives, discussions held with management, progress achieved on HR and EPF related issues, and steps taken to strengthen SNEA. He also explained the challenges faced by executives and the continuous efforts being made by the Circle Union to resolve them.

Shri. N. Jayanand, Circle Treasurer, presented the financial report and explained the financial position of the Circle.

The District Secretaries of all 14 BAs/OAs presented their respective reports highlighting organizational developments, local issues, membership status, challenges faced by executives, and resolutions passed during their BA/OA level meetings. The discussions reflected active involvement and dedication of district units towards strengthening the association.

In after lunch session, a special Open Session was conducted which was attended by Circle Leaders of sister unions and associations viz. Shri. M. Prasad Babu, CS SEWA AP, Shri. Hemachandra Sekhar, President SEWA, Shri. Krishna Balaji, CS BSNLEU, Shri. A. Nagababu, CS NFTE, and Shri. E. Bhanu Babu, CS SNPWA.

All these leaders including GS SNEA addressed the house on the activities of AUAB and the status of the 3rd PRC wage settlement and Guntur GM Issue. The speakers elaborated on wage revision issues, pension-related matters, and joint efforts being undertaken by AUAB for safeguarding the interests of employees.

The house passed resolution against vindictive actions of Shri Sridhar, GM Guntur and unanimously demanded for his transfer to place so as to keep him away from dealing with Humans.

After completion of the special session, the CEC resumed its formal proceedings.

Shri. K. Tatababu, CHQT addressed the house and explained the achievements and organizational progress of SNEA at the national level.

Shri. K. Suresh AIVP CHQ spoke in detail about organizational strengthening, membership expansion strategies and active participation of members in association activities.

Shri. M. Satya Prasad FJSS CHQ highlighted various Enterprise Business related issues of BSNL and stressed the need for executives to focus on business growth and customer satisfaction.

Shri. G. Acheswara Rao JSS CHQ emphasized the importance of strengthening SNEA in view of upcoming membership verification and appealed to members to work unitedly to enhance organizational strength.

Shri. M. S. Adasul, GS SNEA CHQ delivered an elaborate, informative and highly motivational address covering various important issues affecting executives and the organization. He clarified doubts raised by CEC members and updated the house regarding current developments at BSNL Headquarters, continuous support extended by the Government of India to BSNL, and the crucial role played by BSNL executives in strengthening telecom infrastructure across the country. He also elaborated on pending HR issues, promotional aspects, third PRC, Standard Pay Scale Pay loss issues, and continuous persuasion being made by SNEA at different forums.

In a process of co-option of COBs in vacant posts, the house unanimously decided co-option and accordingly Shri. M. Chalamaiah was co-opted as Circle President, Shri. Kalyanakar was co-opted as Assistant Circle Secretary, and Shri. P. Rajasekhar was co-opted as CWC Member.

The meeting reflected strong organizational unity and commitment towards achieving the objectives of SNEA and safeguarding the interests of executives.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Shri. G. Pardhasardhi, DS VCTD, who thanked the Chief Guest, dignitaries, delegates, organizers and members for making the CEC meeting a grand success.

The CEC meeting started at 0900 AM in a highly vibrant and constructive atmosphere with active participation from all delegates, concluded at 1000 PM with National anthem and dinner thereafter.
