DM BW-I BSNL CO writes to all BSNL Civil Zones calling for Screening Committee Report (SCR) and VC status in regard to Advance Preparatory Work for Regular Promotion from JTO to SDE Civil under Seniority cum Fitness (SCF) quota to fill up the vacancies for the VY 2024. Copy<<<>>
The similar data has been already collected for Vacancies of Year 2022 and 2023 and now the details are called against vacancy Year 2024.
Though VCs and SCRs were called for vacancy Year 2022 and 2023, but DPC is not conducted since December 2024 as it was decided to issue promotion against vacancies of 2024.
But the matter was twisted and it was again routed through getting clearance on legal case which was cleared for vacancy Year 2022 & 2023 and when the promotions in similar conditions are issued in Year 2021.
This deliberate action delayed promotion of JTO to SDE Civil by about six months and SNEA has to pursue the matter with different offices and officers for getting this known legal clearance for vacancies of 2024.
Now after taking time of six months the issue has passed through hurdles and has now received legal clearance and accordingly VC is called for JTO to SDE Promotions.
If these VCs and SCRs are received in time, the JTO to SDE Promotion orders for Civil wing are expected in fortnight.
Similar action for JTO to SDE Promotion is Electrical wing has been initiated and VS/SCRs will be shortly called and its DPC is expected within this Month May/June 2025.
