It is to inform that in the Management Committee (MC) Meeting held on 09/04/2025, the proposal for extension of laptop Policy to the executives in field units was discussed and finally approved. Accordingly, the formal orders will be issued shortly.
This is one of the agenda submitted by the three Recognized Associations viz. SNEA, AIGETOA and SEWA for HR Month activities in April 2025.
The Laptop Policy was started for Executives in Corporate office for SDE and above level but the same was not extended to field units for last two years, even though it was assured for its extensions.
This issue was discussed in all agenda Meetings of SNEA and in last meeting Director HR has formally assured for the extension of Laptop policy and accordingly it has been extended for all Executives including JTOs who were not included in existing laptop Policy for BSNL CO. There certain changes/ improvement in this policy and same can be conformed once official letter is issued by CIT Cell.
This is start of meeting assurances by Management and mainly CMD BSNL as HR Month Activities in April 2025. Let us hope for the best.
