The Meeting of all Unions and Associations of BSNL held at 1100 on 10/03/2025 at NFTE Office, Atul Grove Road, New Delhi.
This meeting was attended by the General Secretaries / Representatives of BSNLEU, NFTE BSNL, SNEA, SEWA BSNL, AIGETOA, AIBSNLEA, DEWAB, CBOWA, FNTO, BSNL MS etc and this meeting was presided over by Shri. Chandeshwar Singh, Chairman AUAB.
From SNEA, this meeting was attended by Shri. M.S. Adasul, GS and Shri. Satya Sasidhar M, AGS CHQ.
Shri. P. Abhimanyu, Convenor AUAB gave welcome to everyone and briefed on the agenda items to be discussed in the meeting.
All the burning issues of the employees viz. Pay Revision of the Executives & Wage Revision of the Non-Executives, Second VRS in BSNL, Delay in conduction of AUAB and issues thereof, Support by GoI/DoT in provision of Telecom services, Quality of 4G service by BSNL, need of improvement of GSM services, Provision Prominence of DoT officers in overall functioning of BSNL, Status of Pay Revision proposal at DoT and need of its keen persuasion by leaders of AUAB, Change of Name of AUAB, building strong unity among the entire workforce of BSNL, starting strong and united struggle for settlement of pending common demands, Credibility of BSNL management on stands taken on different issues, Conduction of February 2025 as FTTH Month, March 2025 as Revenue Month and April 2025 as HR Month, Review of outsourcing Policy for FTTH provision and role of TIPs and impact on BSNL working, postponement of the scheduled meeting of wage negotiations and related issues were discussed in depth.
All the General Secretaries / Representatives, participated in the deliberations and submitted view of their Association/Union on all these issues.
Serious concern and resentment were expressed by all the leaders, over the non-settlement of the Pay Revision of the Executives and Wage Revision of the Non-Executives and all leaders stressed for immediate and united organizational call with full preparations for settlement of the Pay/Wage revision.
Similarly, all the leaders vehemently decided to oppose any proposal for second VRS in BSNL. Suggestions for various agitational programmes were outlined by the speakers. After elaborate submission by all some Leaders asked time for internal discussions among their association/union on certain issues discussed in this meeting and as some leaders have some preassigned works, this AUAB meeting was adjourned at 1330 Hrs with decision to have next meeting on 19/03/2025 at 1500 Hrs.
