Two consecutive Meetings of General Secretaries of Unions and Associations of BSNL was held on 08/01 & 09/01/2026 to review the Nationwide Lunch Hour Demonstrations and its response by the Management to discuss further strategy / course of action of future agitation. These meetings were attended by General Secretaries of all participating Unions and Associations.
By this time it was confirmed that Management Committee has approved the proposal of wage negotiation and further course of action is being initiated.
It was also assured that Chennai/Tamilnadu issue will be resolved to the best satisfaction of all and appeals against Punishments will be given due consideration at the shortest possible time as per relevant guidelines. After elaborate discussions, it was decided to go ahead with agitational programme after analysing response from Management and next meeting of General Secretaries will be held on 20/01/2026 to decide further course oof action.
Accordingly, a circular is issued about decision taken in the meeting and mainly conveying thanks to all leaders and members of Unions and Associations of BSNL for highly successful Lunch Hour Demonstration all over India. Copy <<<>>
