Delegation of SNEA comprising Shri. M. S. Adasul, GS SNEA CHQ, Shri. Satya Sasidhar, AGS SNEA CHQ, Mrs. Anu Agrawal, CP SNEA BSNL CO, Shri. Arvind Pal Dahiya, CS SNEA BSNL CO and Shri. Nimesh Yadav, OS SNEA CNTxN Delhi had a meeting with Shri. Anand Khare, Respected Member Services DoT in his office at Sanchar Bhavan, New Delhi on 24/03/2025.
At the outset, we congratulated Shri. Anand Khare, Member Services DoT by presenting a bouquet and conveyed best wishes for grand success in this new assignment as Member Services, DoT and requested his support for resolution of different HR issues of executives in BSNL.
In reciprocation, Member Services DoT Shri Anand Khare, conveyed thanks to SNEA delegation for this special gesture and shared that he has taken up the charge for three months till regular appointment and in the duration he will try his level best to support the issues of BSNL.
Member (S) further highlighted that SNEA has more responsibility as a recognised association, all together with executives should put efforts to increase revenue of BSNL as this month is critical.
We responded that each and every executive of BSNL is putting in all out efforts to increase the revenue of BSNL. We responded that CMD BSNL has ensured for some positive developments in April 2025 by declaring it as HR month and requested for support from DoT on two prominent HR issues of BSNL Executives viz. Upgraded Standard pay Scales and implementation of third PRC for BSNL executives.
We categorically apprised him about the hardship faced by the young executives across BSNL due to Presidential Order issued by DoT in 2017. Member (S) was very positive on this issue and assured that at present this issue is not in his domain but whenever he gets the opportunity he will help in resolving the issue as young officers are the core of any organization and they should not suffer.
We also updated Member (S) about the over delay in implementation of the 3rd PRC and issues thereof. We elaborated about happening on this issue since unsuccessful negations in 2019 with present status of need of taking up issue for approval of Cabinet as directed by DPE and requested for support and initiatives required from DoT on this important issue impacting all the executives and non-executives in BSNL. Member (S) gave patience hearing to the submission by delegation and assured to look into issues to possible extent and agreed that gave very positive assurance for the same.
In conclusion of meeting we conveyed thanks for sparing time and understanding difficulties faced by BSNL Executives and Member (S) assured for all possible support for resolution of both the issues.
