BSNL developed In-house Sanchar Mitra App to overcome the critical situation developed due to all of sudden withdrawal of Sanchar Aadhaar App by the vendor without handing over password or existing data of the app to BSNL.
Initially Sanchar Aadhaar app also was developed by BSNL but later all these activities were handed over to Vendor and BSNL has lost total control on this in house app developed by ITPC. This is the reason why BSNL is facing the worst situation for the last 15 days as no single new Mobile booked, no SIM Replacement was done and overall activities of Mobile were stand still.
SNEA has discussed this issue with CMD BSNL and expressed serious concern about this issue and in this meeting CMD BSNL has assured for in house development of Sanchar Mitra App which will be replacement of Sanchar Aadhaar App.
Accordingly, executives in Kerala Circle was working for replacement/ substitute App and has now developed a new App with name Sanchar Mitra App which is a totally in-house App of BSNL.
As per information from Director HR, who is also head of ITPC unit, this Sanchar Mitra App has been in use and works of Sanchar Aadhaar are being taken through Sanchar Mitra App and by now about 40000 new SIMs are registered in Sanchar Mitra App.
Many features available in Sanchar Aadhar may not be available at this stage, but efforts are being made by team BSNL to add all such features and make this app user friendly. Hopefully, the left out issues faced with this Sanchar Mitra App will be settled this week.
This is immediate solution by the management to meet emergent situation and after full proof testing of this APP it will be used more effectively.
Any issues in the operation of Sanchar Mitra app are to be sent to to Shri Saji Kumar, CGMT Kerala who is personally monitoring activities related to development of the Sanchar Mitra App.
It is also reported that efforts are being made for restoration of Sanchar Aadhar App and the same is also expected to be restored shortly.
It is important to note that when vendor who has everything in hand, having working system with him, has withdrawn services, by taking over password and started blackmailing by stopping working services thereby directly damaging the image and working of BSNL for last 15 days, our own team of BSNL executives have taken special and day night efforts for development this new APP as well as working on restoration of Sanchar Aadhar App as an emergency work and that to be with minimum resources and this is real strength and excellent talent of BSNL Executives.
This is a real difference between vendors and the own executives of BSNL and we are hopeful that BSNL Management will understand this difference and fully recognize and respect the internal talent and strength of BSNL Executives and reduce believing in vendors than the BSNL Executives.
