In continuation to notice issued on 30/12/2025 for Lunch Hour Demonstrations all over India, an emergent meeting of the General Secretaries of Unions and Associations was held at NFTE CHQ Office New Delhi to review preparations for the lunch hour demonstration scheduled today on 08/01/2026 and it is decided to intensify the ongoing agitational programme.
The General Secretaries stressed the need to organise the programme in a united and effective manner across the country. After discussion, it was unanimously decided to issue a circular to all Circle and District Secretaries, calling upon them to ensure the grand success of the programme. Copy<<<>>
General Secretaries of all Unions and Associations make an earnest appeal to all the Executives and employees of BSNL to come forward and participate in the Luch Hour Demonstrations and register strong protest against the indifferent attitude of the Management by three months delay in recommending duly signed Wage Negotiations and continued uncertainty thereof and not keeping words and assurances given for settlement of vindicative actions by CGMT CHTD/TN Circle. The next meeting of General Secretaries will be held after Lunch Hour Demonstrations today to discuss and decide further course of action on continued agitational programme till settlement of the demands and details will be shared accordingly.
