An important meeting of the General Secretaries and representatives of the Unions and Associations in BSNL was held on 26/11/2025, at the SEWA BSNL Union Office. The meeting was presided over by Shri. N. D. Ram, GS, SEWA BSNL.
From SNEA this meeting was attended by Shri. Ganesh Sabharwal, CS Haryana, Shri. Arvind Pal Dahiya, JSC CHQ and Shri. M. S. Adasul, GS.
At the outset, the Convenor briefed the house regarding the discussions held with CMD BSNL on 25/11/2025.
The leaders expressed strong resentment and unanimously condemned the incident that occurred inside the CMD chamber, as well as the objectionable behaviour of the Director HR during discussions with leaders.
The Convenor also explained the future course of action and organisational matters related to the ongoing joint struggle.
After detailed discussions, the following decisions were taken.
- Resolution to CMD BSNL: A strong resolution will be sent to CMD BSNL expressing deep dissatisfaction over the behaviour and attitude shown by the Director HR in the meeting held on 25/11/2025.
- On Tamil Nadu / Chennai TD CGM transfer issue:House discussed that Management has changed its stand of Transfers of GM HR TN and CHTD and it was bluntly told that they have never assured for these transfers and it was threatened by Director HR that if he assured if any, management withdraw its words now states that both the GMs will be not be transferred. The Meeting decided to intensify the struggle on the issue of transfer of CGM/ GM HR TN/ CHTD Circles, a letter will be submitted to the Management urging settlement of the issue on or before 15/12/2025. If the Management fails to resolve the matter, a countrywide agitation programme will be restored after 15/12/2025.
- 3rd PRC & BSNL Revival – Nationwide Action:A common memorandum will be submitted to all Members of Parliament to highlight BSNL’s issues in the upcoming Parliament Session. For implementation of the 3rd PRC and to demand proactive measures by the Management and the Government to save BSNL, dharna will be organised at Jantar Mantar in February 2026.
- Strengthening Joint Activities at circle & district levels:Joint activities of unions and associations at the circle and district levels will be activated without further delay. All General Secretaries will issue necessary guidelines to their respective circle secretaries for immediate action.
- Long Pending HR issues of BSNL Executives and Non-Executives:It was also resolved for submitting the list of pending HR issues of executives and non-executives with covering letter of Unions and Associations as it was discussed with CMD BSNL.
The meeting concluded with move ahead with strong unity for resolution of HR issues.
