Hearing in case filed by SNEA on pay loss faced by the LICE JTO/JAO during JE period was completed 31/10/2024 , but since then it was kept on hold for hearing of another case on same subject matter filed by Shri. Anup Das JTO Kerala.
The case filed by SNEA was responded by reply by BSNL, then rejoinder by SNEA and then heard in detail and after completion of hearing it was listed for final hearing on 31/10/2024.
However on the same day, the applicant in the second OA suddenly requested Hon. Court that their OA being on subject matter, may be tagged with OA of SNEA and prayed that both matters be may be heard jointly and deliberations continued accordingly.
Since then proceedings continued as reply was sought from BSNL and same was not submitted by BSNL to Hon. Court in the last three/four hearings till last hearing. On submission of reply by BSNL Honourable Court asked applicants in this second OA for filing rejoinder which is normal practice but the advocate of applicant in second OA has conveyed that they do not wish to submit any rejoinder.
Thus after period of one year with no much changes in pleadings and deliberations on subject matter as per deliberations in first case filed by SNEA, the submissions in second OA completed now and matter in both the cases is posted for final hearing on 02/01/2026.
Let us hope that both these cases are decided by Honourable Court positively in favour of affected JTOs/ JAOs facing loss and all affected executives will get the long awaited justice.
