Though SNEA has taken up issues at all possible level and tried to expediate the long awaited JTO to SDE Civil/Electrical wing promotions in Year 2025, but we could not succeed due to casual approach of the officers dealing with and mainly due to confusing stand on stay in this process of Promotions.
But, it good to witness that this proposal of JTO to SDE Civil wing Promotions, which was moving in tortoise speed in year 2025, has now overcome all hurdles and at the start of New year 2026, it has reached the finality as the said proposal for holding DPC for JTO to SDE Promotion in Civil wing has been approved by Director HR in first week of January 2026.
Accordingly, the DPC for the SDE Civil vacancies of Year 2023 and 2024 will be held in this week and we are expecting the Promotion orders in the coming week of at least by fortnight.
We are happy to see that with tireless persuasion by SNEA for last three years to overcome fear and foiba of pending court case and hypothetical stay finally all the man made hurdles are cleared and Promotions of JTOs in Civil wing have reached to its finality.
The files for Promotion of JTO to SDE in Electrical wing against Vacancies of these two years are pending with Pers DPC section for last two years and now these files will be returned to Electrical wing for fresh and final proposal for holding DP C for JTO to SDE Promotion in Electrical wing and proposal will be initiated by EW wing in the lines similar to Civil wing by calling VCs and APRs of JTOs eligible for SDE Promotions.
