The SLP filed by BSNL on AO to CAO Court case was heard in Supreme Court on 24/07/2026. Honourable Supreme Court did not pass any specific order but noted observations that BSNL or other affected parties are free to approach Chief Justice of High Court for early decision on pending writ petition to fill 440 vacant posts as the interest of administration is adversely affected since eligible officers cannot be promoted for consequent promotions and disposed off the SLP filed by BSNL. Accordingly, BSNL Management will take up case with Chief Justice of High Court for early decision in the pending writ petition. ORDER <<<>>
