Director HR BSNL Board writes a DO letter to all Circle Heads for scrutiny of the medical grounds OTP requests submitted in Jan 2026 window. Copy<<<>>
Circle Heads are directed to assess the OTP Requests received from the executives on medical grounds of Self or dependent family members in January 2026 window as per the procedure laid down in the letter dated 30/06/2025 {Copy<<<>>} and forward the same with due recommendations to the Director HR latest by 15/03/2026.
It has been clearly mentioned in this DO letter that OTP Requests on Medical Grounds without recommendations or recommendations received after the given date 15/03/2026 shall not be considered.
As such, all the individuals who have applied for OTP Requests on Medical grounds are requested to check the status of their case and if required submit all required documents with separate representation through Proper channel so that these cases on genuine medical grounds are recommended by Circle Heads and forwarded in time to Director HR BSNL well in time i.e. before 15/03/2026 and are finally given consideration.
This is an advance action by Director HR BSNL, giving hopes that at least this time, the Medical ground OTP requests duly recommended by Circle Heads will be given consideration.
Hopefully, all executives who have applied OTP Requests for transfers on genuine medical grounds have already submitted documents as above to the office of BA heads and the same are reached to the office of Circle Head for such specific recommendations.
If not, then all such individuals and CS concerned are requested to look into such cases and see that OTP Requests or revised representation along with all relevant supporting documents justifying genuineness of medical ground requests are forwarded by Circle Heads with due recommendations so that all such genuine requests are given consideration on priority.
