As per the call given by AUAB CHQ, massive Lunch Hour Demonstrations were organised on 25/09/2026, at OA, BA, Circle and CHQ levels across the country, demanding the early approval and implementation of the Third Pay/Wage Revision for all Executives and Non-Executives of BSNL.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic and determined participation of Executives and Non-Executives across the country. Reports received from different Circles indicate strong mobilisation and impressive participation by members of all the participating Unions and Associations.
AUAB leaders addressed the demonstrations and apprised the employees of the present status of the 3rd PRC, the undue delay in its approval and the need for sustained organisational action to secure its early settlement.
It was particularly inspiring to see hundreds of Executives and Non-Executives, irrespective of their membership of any particular Union or Association, joining the struggle in large numbers and registering their strong protest against the prolonged delay in approval of the Third Pay/Wage Revision by DoT. Their participation reflected the growing concern and collective anguish over the continued uncertainty surrounding the 3rd PRC.
At BSNL Corporate Office, Eastern Court, New Delhi, a massive Lunch-Hour Demonstration was organised with the participation of more than 200 comrades. This gathering was addressed by the General Secretaries Viz. Shri. C. Singh, GS NFTE, Shri. Animesh Mitra, GS BSNLEU, Shri. M. S. Adasul, GS SNEA, Shri. N.D. Ram, Chief Patron, SEWA, Shri. R. K. Gupta, GS DEWAB, Shri Suresh Kumar GS BMS, Shri Vikas Mohan, GS BTU along with Circle Secretaries CNTxN and Corporate Office, New Delhi. Com. Sunil Kumar, CS MEA New Delhi also attended LHD and addressed gathering.
In similar manner the leaders of AUAB consisting CHQ/Circle /District Level leaders all over India had addressed gathering at OA/BA/Circle offices and updated gathering about the agitational call and motivated gathering by their impressive and informative address.
All the leaders addressed on single demand of the 3rd PRC, emphasising the urgency of its approval and implementation and called upon the BSNL workforce to make the ongoing AUAB agitational programmes successful at all levels.
The countrywide demonstrations have once again demonstrated the strongest unity, determination and organisational strength of BSNL workforce on the single, common and genuine demand raised by AUAB for approval and implementation of the Third Pay/Wage Revision without further delay.
The programme also conveyed a clear message that the demand for early settlement of the Third Pay/Wage Revision cannot be kept pending indefinitely as being done now.
The countrywide demonstrations have once again demonstrated the unity, determination and organisational strength of BSNL Executives and Non-Executives on the common and genuine demand for approval and implementation of the Third Pay/Wage Revision.
The massive participation has also sent a crystal clear message that the genuine demand of BSNL employees for the 3rd PRC cannot be kept pending indefinitely.
