The court case filed by certain MTs in CAT Chandigarh challenging the provisions of MSRR 2023 has been decided on 28/08/2026 stating that court do not find merit in the challenge raised by the applicants to the MSRR-2023 or to the consequential action taken by the respondents thereunder. It is also mentioned that applicants have failed to establish any vested or accrued right under MTRR-2013 read with MSRR-2009 which has been unlawfully taken away by the revised Rules, or any violation of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India.
