DGM Rstg BSNL CO issued order for Constitution of BSNL Women’s Empowerment and Facilitation Cell (WEFC). Copy<<<>>

With the objective of strengthening the institutional mechanism for women’s empowerment, welfare, facilitation, workplace safety and responsive grievance facilitation in BSNL, it has been decided to constitute a BSNL Women’s Empowerment and Facilitation Cell (WEFC) in BSNL with immediate effect.

The WEFC shall function as an administrative/functional cell for facilitation and coordination for women-related issues in the organization. It shall work through the existing organisational structure and manpower and shall not involve creation of any new sanctioned post or increase in sanctioned strength.

The WEFC shall function in coordination with the existing competent authorities/branches and the Internal Committee(s) constituted under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act).
