Responding to the call of the All Unions and Associations of BSNL (AUAB), BSNL Executives and Non-Executives across the country observed Call Attention Day by wearing black badges to register their strong resentment and determined protest against the BSNL Management’s unilateral decision to implement the Uttarakhand Pilot Project.
The nationwide protest reflects the growing anger of employees over the betrayal of management’s from its commitments and its continued disregard for the legitimate concerns of the workforce regarding the Uttarakhand Pilot Project.
In Uttarakhand, 100% of the Executives/Non-Executives have launched an indefinite non-cooperation movement and are holding a massive dharana, demonstrating their unwavering resolve against the adamant and indifferent attitude of Management towards implementing the pilot project despite widespread opposition.
The AUAB CHQ extends its warm greetings and heartfelt thanks to all grassroots members, office-bearers, and cadres for their spontaneous, enthusiastic, and united participation, which made today’s nationwide programme a grand success. The overwhelming response once again demonstrates the unity, strength, and determination of BSNL employees in defending their rights and protecting the interests of the organization.
To further intensify the struggle, the AUAB has decided to organize massive demonstrations at every workplace and at all GM/CGM offices on 31/07/26 along with the submission of memorandums highlighting the burning issues of BSNL Executives/Non-Executives, with the immediate withdrawal of the Uttarakhand Pilot Project as the foremost demand.
AUAB calls upon every Executive and Non-Executive to remain united, strengthen the ongoing agitation, and make the forthcoming programmes a resounding success until the management withdraws the Uttarakhand Pilot Project and addresses the genuine concerns of BSNL employees. United struggle alone will ensure justice.
